I'm considering purchasing an extended warranty from Auto Advantage. Has anyone had any experience with this company? Does anyone have any other companies to suggest?

 

Have no experience with this company. But the general rule of thumb is they are over priced. If you get it for nothing then take it. How much are the asking $700. $1000, more?

I bought my C280 at a dealer and it was starmarked, and I bought the drivetrain and electrical systems addtional year for $700. Only had tw0 failures under warranty, if I paid for them the cost would have been close to the $700 I paid for the second starmark. It is really a toss of the dice.

 

Actually, this is for a 48 month, "bumper to bumper" warrranty for a car that I'm buying ( 2001 E-320) that is out of the original warranty. The quote is $1700. thanks!
