engine question help !

Default engine question help !
1985 300 td just installed new head ,timing chain, gides,cam and gear eng turns some
and locks up . can turn it backwards some then locks again?? any ideas??

wrong timing!

don't force it or you will bent the valve.

check camshaft and crankshaft timing again...!
