Has anybody had the EC mode on the climate control panel get stuck on? My AC has stopped working since this happened and I'm not sure how to un-stick it. Also, where do you get the tools to remove the claimate control panel should I need to replace it.

most likely a low charge thats all. possibly a leak, but a low charge will cause EC light to come on.

 

In many cases, the refrigerant pressure/temperature sensors, if faulty, can cause this condition. If there is pressure in the system, but the sensor is not working properly and not seeing that there is adequate freon in the system, it will also cause this light to stay on. I would look for that and or a leak from the hose near the receiver/drier.

 

Yep! LOW ON REFRIGERANT!!!
