Default E500 Radio Issue

I JUST picked up my 2005 E500, and the radio has been fine for the three days I've had it. Last night I parked it in the garage, still fine. This morning I started the car and nothing. The entire display is dark and the console says "please wait" and then changes to ------, under the audio page. I checked the 2 fuses, 1 in the front and 1 in the trunk that are labeled for the audio and they are fine. I have a dealer appt. on Wed but I thought I'd ask if anyone has seen this before. It is boring as hell having no radio.

try pulling fuse for radios and leave them out for a few seconds then put them back in. you should get audio again. it will restart the fiberoptic ring. if you see a fuse for amplifier pull that one too.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. I only saw the 2 fuses labeled for the audio system. I'll take another crack at it.

Worked! Thanks for the heads up. Any idea what could cause it to shut down?
