2004 E320 Malfunction Warning - Battery Symbol with "Visit Workshop" message. After dropping off at the dealer, the Service Manager informed that this is not a problem. The Malfunction Warning now comes on alll the time.

HELP! I beleive that this is a problem that needs a resolution

 

Go tp another dealer, this person is smokin' something funny I think?

PS: His answer to you was irresponsible at best, by the way!

 

Its prabably your battery control module. it moniters your battery and makes sure power is supplied to correct consumers. Could also be an Alternator issue. This is a problem and you need it taken care of. go to another dealer if they cant help you. you may be left without a starting car someday. good luck
