E320 Driver's Window Stutter

My wife's 2001 e320 window is acting up. Goes up a little, stops. Goes up some more. I searched but couldn't find a good diagnosis. Can anyone offer some advice for this?

I wondered if it had anything to do with cold temps here in PA.
