E300 (W210) Immobiliser Problems
 

I have a N reg Mercedes E300. I am having trouble with my immobilizer, the keyless entry will unlock the car but i am unable to start the engine. Mercedes told me to change the batteries in the key, which i did & it worked fine, but then when i came to start the car again half an hour later the same happened.
The red & green lights in the rear view mirror, ( once immobiliser usually turned off they flash green, i think) but now the red & green lights are flashing.

Does anyone have any ideas on this as have been told that i need a complete new immobiliser system. Any help gratefully received, as i use this car for my chauffeur business and at the moment the car is sat still outside the car & the business not making me any money...

depends if the green and red light LED is flashing alternately or at the same time.

The lights in the rear view mirror flash altenately when trying to turn over the engine.

Unfortunately this LINK doesn't work, neither do your other links you posted on other threads, which is both a shame and a bit of an annoyance. Any idea what the problem is?
