E 280cdi Inlet Manifold problems
 

I have a late 2005 E280 CDI Avantgarde.
I bought it at 8 months old and has 33000 miles.
I have it serviced every year with no probs..
At 3 years the front coils springs had to be replaced - under warranty.
Last week I noticed a lit icon on the fascia that has been diagnosed as inlet manifold probs. The garage has warned that there may be a £1000 + bill. Scary.
I have also been told that othrers have had a similar problem.
Is this the case with others on the forum?
