i just purchased a 1997 e300 diesel with only 58k mi,,i changed the oil and noticed that when i looked up at the bottom of the injector pump i saw a leak,,but it was on the black cylinder plastic shaped thing,,where the clear fuel lines are attached,,i check them and no leak,,it seems to be comming from the back side of that little plastic piece,,,what is it?? is it a dealor item and can i install a new one myself...i repair outboard motors so i have some repair skills..thanks

 

i would go to a benz parts department, and they should have a schematic that shows everything, so you can point out the exact part, and let you know if that exact piece can be purchased
