Last week Ipurchased a 2008 ML350.The "check tire pressure" warning light on the dash came on as I was driving home. The dealer sales reps had no clue so theyinstructed me to reset it when that occurred. Well,during the 4 day Christmas weekend I reset it no less than 10 times. It would go out and then come back on after driving about 2 blocks. This morning I took it in to the dealer servicedepartment. The advisor said this would continue to occur until I drove the car for 10 miles without turning off the engine. He said that this procedure is federally mandated since 80% of crashes are the result of incorrect tire pressure. Is this for real?
