Cruise Control on 420 SEL
My dad recently bought a 1990 420 SEL with 160,000 miles on the clock. He loves the car.
Recently the cruise control won't hold. Once engaged, after a minute or two, it starts to pulse and then it drops off like you had tap the brakes.
I have heard that there is a control board that gets loose solder joints and it needs to have the joints resoldered on the module.
I would like to know if this is true? Also where would this module be located?
Does anyone have a link to a repair instruction for removing the module? I am not sure where it is located.
I appreicate any and all respones and hope all had a Great Thanksgiving feast for those that celebrate this American Holiday.
