corrosion on my alloy wheels
 

Guys loking for a bit of info. Just about to pick up a c class 2nd hand the alloy wheels have corrosion on them the dealer states that it should be covered by mercedes under there anti corrosion guarantee. i cant find anywhere that lists the wheels are covered are they???? your speedy responce would be great.

Did you buy it at a Mercedes dealer if so tell them well if Mercedes will cover it than fix it.

I will assume though that u didnt get it there and most car companies only caver corrosion if it affects drivablity of it completely rusts or corrodes though the material. I think u will be stuck with that condition unless u strip them and either powercoat them or get them refinsihed buy a wheel company. Or a $5 can of silver spray paint. Hey someone did it to my 560 wheels b4 i bought it and it looks better than corrosin. But it will wear off over time.
