CLS 550 Transmission Shifting

I have a 2014 CLS550 which lurches like the transmission controller and the fuel management system are not in sync. This happens mostly in the comfort mode when shifting from 2 to 3 as it feels like the fuel is cutting off for a split second then back on causing the car to lurch. This happens under moderate throttle pressure and not when under a hard takeoff with the throttle pushed down more. When starting out easy there is no problem either. The car sometimes lurches a couple of times before it stops depending on the throttle pressure.

Any ideas out there on what is happening. Anyone else having this problem.

I have trained myself to live with it as i know how to avoid it happening but this should be necessary. My wife's XK Jaguar has no such problems, and my previous Mercedes (E550) had nothing like this.
