clk320 limp mode under power

clk320 limp mode under power
I have a mercedes clk 320 x reg drives fine until you put your foot hard down on throttle. The right hand side of the engine shuts down. Is this limp mode and if so why does it only shut right hand side down? It has already had new plugs and lambda sensors, was thinking of possible mass air flow meter. Any ideas?
