CLK speedo reads in MPH and kmph
 

I have a 2006 registered CLK 220 Diesel Sport. Using the menu buttons on the steering wheel I select 'MPH' as the preferred speed reading, and the speed does read in MPH on the speedo dial and in the digital reading centre of the speedo when I select speed to show there instead of temperature.

BUT - there is another digital speed reading immediately above the mileage reading, and this still shows KM per hour. How do I change it to also show MPH?

The local Mercedes dealer tells me all Mercedes show the mileage in KMPH and that it is a legal requirement, but I cannot believe that a car in the UK is required to have a KMPH speed reading?

i dont think you can change it. you have the option to make that display KMPH or outside temp. you already have the main speedo in MPH so they give you an option of showing KM or outside temp. it can be changed in the settings .
