A-Class EAS/BAS switching on
 

Hi, I have a 1999 model A-Class 140, from time to time when I start the car the engine revs very slowly, there a few seconds delay before the accelerater works and it seems very under powered. It's as if the traction control is switching on, the EAS/BAS light eventually comes on and the cars engine dies, I then have to turn the key off/on to get it going again, the other issue is that the horn sounds very odd, the car manual shows that both systems are run off the same relay....

Anyone else experience this with their Merc?
