CL55 Vibration during acceleration

Hey, just got my '03 CL55 back from local MBZ dealer after taking it in under warranty to fix vibration when accelerating. They found the motor mounts had leaked fluid and weren't doing their job. 23K miles...go figure. Ran smooth for a few weeks. Well the vibration hasreturned, but not as bad, and only when it is cold....after warming up it runs smooth. I'm out of warranty now so afraid to take it back to MBZ. Any ideas on what's going on? The service tech who drove it originally at first thought it was exhaust vibration. I appreciate any advice. thanks.

My car is doing the exact same thing. It vibrates whenI accel. I thought maybe misfiring of the spark plugs? New fuel injectors? IDK but I'm taking it to the shop to get better on Friday. Did you figure out what it was?

Suggest you have your tech inspect transmission mounts; integrity of the mount itself and torque on the bolt(s).

I would probably go back to the dealer. They have a history of the car and if you express the fact that you were in a few weeks ago and now it still does it they may just goodwill the repair and cover it for you to keep you happy. It sounds like your car has low miles and you have a good chance of them taking care of you.
