Charged battery, alram wont stop

I foolishly left the key in my car whilst turned halfway, and forgot all about it, until tried starting the car the next morning. Surprise surprise the battery was totally dead.

I removed the battery, and charged it, and as I reconnect the battery, the alram keeps going and won' stop. I used my key blip to switch it on and off.
But no joy!

Can anyone help?

Try resetting the alarm this way:

Close the doors. Put the key in the driver's door and lock it. Wait a few seconds and unlock it. That should reset the system.

Tried locking and unlocking driver's door with a key, unfortunately the alrm just woul not shut up.
Can you suggest something else 'The big dog'?

Can anyone else help?
