I just got a 2000 CL500 with the original STARTAC phone. My provider will not activate this phone. How can I replace this phone and maintain the original functionality.

I recently installed a bluetooth puck in a 2001 s class that did have astartak phone i had to change the pse unit for the phone and also a new V60i cradle. benz does have a blue tooth puck the installs in the cradle of the v60i. but im not sure if this is the same for a 2000. he did have a new razor phone with the blutooth.
