CDI C220 2000 MOdel BAS/ESP Fault
 

I brought this car today and the bas/esp light was on and the car wouldent rev past 3000rpm after some head scratching i disconnected the switch from the ASB and refitted it and the light went out and the car was fine again went for a drive perfect, i went to it later that day and the light was on again but the car is running fine now no faults etc? my question is is there any manual way of turning the light off? the car seems fine now and runs perfect just annoying with the light on at night time lol. will i damage the car by still driving it? will it just let me down without warning? i dont want to get ripped off at the MB garage?
