Unhappy cannot fill gas tank 2007 c280 matic???

Gas tank fill tube will not accept an ounce of gas from gas pump nozzle.
Dealer service replaced charcoal fuel canister, but didn't correct. Now, they want to replace entire fuel tank for $3,500. Will replacing the charcoal filter shut-off valve OR pressure relief valve OR purge control valve work???

Ive seen the need for a whole gas tank a few times. usually you should still be able to put gas in it but the pump will click off over and over. but if you pump slow it sometimes works. try another dealership to see what their opinion is, make sure you tell them to fill the tank after the repair.
does this ocur all the time?? or only when the tank is a certain amount full?

Thanks for the info.
Previous gas fill up was slower (I thought the nozzle was pumping too fast), however last fill up was impossible (took 30 minutes to get half tank as nozzle "clicked off" at any pressure/angle).
Dealer insists the filler tube (leading to fuel tank) is not clogged.
No experienced dealer or technician has heard of this failure???

Yes even when the gas pump only clicks is a sign that there is an EVAP issue doubt the tank needs to be replaced but purge valve happened to me matter of fact mine is on order right now...
