Cabin air charcoal filter
Having just passed the 60,000 mile mark I have been successful at locating and changing the twin pleated paper cabin air filters behind the glovebox. But I can't locate the charcoal elements on my 2001 CL500.Anybody know where they hid these things? Thanks ... Mike D.
Assuming the CL is the same as the S.
In the same unit but access is from underneath rather than thru the glovebox. Fiddly to get back into position whilst on your back!
You have to remove the horizontal noise deadening enclosure. Couple of screws (I seem to remember) then necessary to push or pull the panel towards you to get iy to release.
