C280 Coffe in shif gear
 

Hello I need help , I have a C280 , here is my troble , i was driving and stop , the i my coffe spill in top of the shift gear , i gust the coffe get in in some of the swiches inside ,all was ok when home parked ,After 1/2 hour a whent out and idmediatye i know the car do not change gears , work ok but as soon i get 20 milles do not shift and the engine RPM go up , I asummed the coffe was the troble, i Removed all the gear shift , i cleaned spray liquid dryer, W 40 and reinataled and the troble still do not goaway, what i can do ?
PS; If i put the car in DRIVE , 3rd , 2nd or 1st is the same , i can't Down ****m is like do not reconice the change in the shfit .

Gearchange ECU doesn't like coffee.

Its just possible that removal and TLC cleanup might work but you basically need a new ECU.

Expensive coffee!

Your not the first...or the last... to have this very same problem.

:) Thanks > Can you please tell me what is TLC and ECU ? , Well i think the ECU , is the computer Module ,, but this not make sence , the Computer is located in some else place, the coffe sill on the shift how this afect the compueter? .
