C220 W203 2001 Rear wheel grind
 

My C220 2001 with 124k miles has twice recently developed a grinding from the righthand rear wheel vicinity, which starts after the car has been moving in reverse. Thought it was bearings initially but not convinced now as it has done it twice. There was a slight knock from somewhere at back while reversing which then became a grinding when moving forwards, often more when the car is heading right rather than left. Any suggestions welcome! Thanks - new to the forum!!
