Hello, I have a 1995 c220 that cuts off if my foot is not on the gas.It start up just fine in neutral or park, but the minuteI take my foot of the gas to put it in gear that's it:a complete shut down.If any one can help,Thank you

 

OK, This is a real stretch, if this isn't it you need to take it to a trusted Mercedes-Benz repair shop and ask for an itemized written estimate of repairs.

These vehicles have a rectangular plastic bushing that holds the throttle cable in place and these bushings deteriorate and could be your problem.
