C220 CDi (European) - folding mirrors
 

This car is 3 1/2 years old. The right hand side folding mirror packed up last year and was fixed under warranty, now the left hand side has failed. The warranty has ended and the cost to fix is high, requiring a door strip down etc. The fuses are ok. I will now have to leave the mirror out or fold it manually from now on. Anyone have similar probelms or know of a quick fix?
