Burning smell underneath the hood

I own a 2005 C320 Mercedes 4matic with lil over 13k on the speedometer. I can smell something burning when I drive my car underneath the hood. I brought it to the dealership they said it might have been a belt slipping but could find nothing wrong with it. The smell is still there underneath the hood. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem before? Any help would be greatly appreciated. My warranty is about to run out I want to get this fixed before it does..

What dose it smell like??? oil,rubber,wires. Identify the smell first that will narrow your search. Good luck.
