Default Brake pedal fade

I have just replaced front rotors, pads, etc on my 99CLK, which resulted in a very low brake pedal. After 2 or 3 pumps of the pedal, the brake comes up to what was previously considered normal. After driving a bit further, the brake fades to the bottom. I have no leaks, no condition codes, just a very low brake pedal, that responds to pumping, but won't hold position very long. All the brake lines were bled after the new pads/rotors were installed. Any suggestions?

Default RE: Brake pedal fade

SHi,

Are you sure that the rotos are running true and do not have excess thick/thin or run out even if correctly seated (poor quality non MB parts?). i.e. pad knock back due to swash plate action of rotor?

Sure the system is properly bled? ABS necessitates special procedure. There was no need to break the hydraulic lines to replace pads and rotors.
