brake pads c230 kom
 

Hi, I have 2005 c230 komp sedan, the car needs brake pads. I just want to kno how do i go about changing them? Do i have to go to the dealer, OR could i just have my mechanic do them??

I have an SLK 230 (probably quite similar to your vehicle) that I just replaced the front & rear pads along with front rotors. I was able to have the rear rotors turned. I did the work myself and spent around $360.

I was able to find instructions along with pictures on the SLK forum site. You may try searching that site for step-by-step instructions. It is not difficult but it is a dirty job. Good luck!
