Brake Pad light
 

My brake pad light indicator on a 2003 C230 Kompressor came on, and I changed the pads. I've put the indicator into the new pads, but the warning light still comes on when I start my auto up. Anyone have any info on how to clear this?

was it fitted properly and no open circuit?

please check the brake fluid level too if it's low.

maybe you got teo sensors... front and rear. check them both.

i seened pepole reuse there old sensors ,,big nono

Make sure you take into consideration what the two gentlemen before me stated as they are both correct.

What pads did you use ? Aftermarket or Dealer ??

All I have to add is.....

Double check everything.
Make certain the sensor is plugged in correctly.
The book shows that your vehicle has rear sensors as well, so the rear pads may be down to the sensors.
