My son's 2002 CLK55 AMG may be needing the battery replaced. He doesn't drive in much in our snowy winters with the salt on the roads and the battery went dead on it in his garage. I put my battery charger on it overnight and brought it back to life. If I do have to replace the battery is there anything special I should watch out for? Will everything electrical reset on it's own?

Replace the battery using only a mercedes battery or interstate battery. You have to relearn the windows, clock, and radio code. To learn the windows, hold them in the "up" position for a few seconds and hold them in the "down" position for a few seconds. You also will need to relearn the steering angle sensor, move steering wheel all the way left and right to the stops a couple times, esp/bas/abs lights will turn off.
