BAS/ETS light wont come out. Ml 320 1999
anyone can help me how to determine why the lights in my instrument panel wont come out. is something wrong with my rotor, pads or tire or any censor. any idea pls......

BAS stand for Brake assist, so there is something wrong within the system. could be electronic glich or brakes, the ESP is electonic stability control, there is something wrong within the system, it could be several things, on both lights, As I said get it to a dealer post haste as both are safety issues.

There are a few things which I have seen that cause this.
The most common is a faulty brake light switch, although most of the time the brake lights still work. There is also a relay in the fuse box which operates the ABS pump. This relay can sometimes cause a fault. If you visit your dealer, they will be able to connect it to their diagnostic computer and diagnose the fault. |

95% that its the stop lamp switch, its underneith the
drivers underpanel and can be replaced easily. and they only cost about $17 bucks. the other 5% maybe a bas travel sensor. |
