Alarm not turning off or on my C230 Kompressor
 

I have a C230K hatchback and my alarm is not turning on or off with key remotes, I put new batteries in remotes and checked battery and is good and alternator is charging but was told the voltage regulator is faulty so will need new alternator, I checked alarm fuses 8, 9, & 41 and were good. Would the voltage regulator cause this????
