Default 97 E320 Stalling unexplicably

Ok, I have recently changed the Maf(within 6 mnths), the plugs(within 3 mnths), the coils(last week).

I have a problem with the car simply shutting off. It has just started doing this in the past month.

Does it at idle, when coming to a stop or sitting at a light (very annoying). The idlewill all of a suddenvary 200rpm and then it may simply rev itself out of it and smooth out or shut off. I've noticed a slight hesitation at higher rpm's like a miss and I think I'm down on power/torque. The car will JERK suddenly under mild throttle sending a shiver up my spine everytime.

There is not a C.E.L?

I'm confused and need some help.
I really don't want to spend alot of money at the dealer and pride myself on trying to figure stuff like this out, but I'm stumped. IAC? Fuel filter? Again, its a 97' Inline 6 with 80K.

Help please, and thanks in advance.

When was the last time that the fuel filter was changed.

Thats my next best guess as to what the problem is as well. We bought it at 60K and have driven it, relatively trouble free since then. I doubt it was ever replaced prior to our purchase and would think it's a likely culprit. I'm going to fix that and see what happens.
Thanks, anymore suggestions?
