My 96 e 320 dies every 7 to 10 days. I have a new battery and alternator. The three mechanics that looked at it can find no battery drain. Once charged up it runs fine for another 7 to 10 days??? This has been going on since I bought it in January.[:@]

 

Bruce, how far do you drive it?

I live in a small town and battery drain due to short trips is a real issue here. If you don't drive your car for more than half an hour at cruising speed at least once a week, then you need to put it on a charger overnight.

However, your problem sounds like it's more serious than that. Do you have an amplifier or other large electricity users installed?
