91 300e timing

91 300e timing
Hey guys, anyone can tell me the procedure to set the timing?
I did a top end rebuild,set the timing as following;crankshaft pulley @OT point and camshaft with the dot mark up.
The car starts but is not running right,it seems that cyl 3 and 4 are not working properly as the exhaust manifold is
cold on their side.I didnt run the engine for a long time"hoping" it will get back to normal,something is wrong.
I dont have a workshop manual so if someone can enlighten me I would really appreciate.
