87 300SE won't start
 

I bought a 87 300SE not running. When you turn the key, the dash lights go on and I can hear the fuel pump running. When I turn the key to the start position nothing happens. When I force 12V to the starter selenoid it will turn over. It doesnt seem to have spark (no spark at the plugs and no spark from a screwdriver inserted in the coil to ground.) but there is 12V at both sides of the coil and when I spray starter fluid in the air intake it seems to want to start. (odd)
Also, when I disconnect a fuel line from an injector, no fuel comes out when I turn it over.
I have extensive experience with carburated engines but not much with fuel injection.
Any ideas?

have you done some tune-ups? it is also good to re-check all car parts, to see what might be causing the problem. anyways, here are some typical reasons/causes why a car won't start: No fuel pressure; no ignition spark; dirty connections.
