Can anyone educate me my 86 560 has which one, OBDI 1 or 2?

Where the connector located? how many contacts ( pin or socket).

What is the reasonable cost for the OBDI scan or reset tool for my car??? Who's the manufacturing?


I am learning to maintain my car. I love to get educated to whom who love to fix our 560SL.

If you are in the US check with Autozone. They will loan you a scan tool. It might not work on Mercedes, but it might with an adapter. They would know so call before you go.

OBD II did not come into existance until 1996. Not sure about OBD I.
