Just got the car so I am going over everything. I want to change transmission filter and pan gasket. Should I get a "transmission flush" or can I drain enough to make a difference? I read that by dropping the pan one only gets about 1/3 of the total fluid out. Is this true. And finally what is a good transmission fluid (besides MB) for an 86 with 155000 miles?
