Hi, I got an '84 300D Turbo diesel, a couple weeks ago it started to smoke white smoke when started it. The smoke goes away after the engine warms up. I doesn't do it all the time, but it boders me. My mechanic told me not to worry if it doesn't do it all the time.

Besides that the car runs like exellent

Any tips?

White smoke is usually steam. If it get worse, you'll probably need a new head gasket.
