'70 280SEL no 4th gear
 

Hi everyone,
For the last 6 years, I've been the proud owner of a 1970 280 SEL. It's been something of a project car, I have'nt driven it all that much. It runs very well, but something is up with the transmission. 2nd gear only lasts a second or two, and it will not engage into 4th gear at all. I have yet to get a good look at anything as my truck has also died recently and have spent time on it instead. Has anyone else here had a similiar problem? Any help is greatly appreciated.
