I got a MB 300E a few month back and out of nowhere the transmission is messing up. It wont shift into 3rd gear and it is an automatic. At around 40mph it starts to top out. It wont go any faster. Is this the transmission? And if so, is it something i could fix without spending alot of money? I would really rather do it myself than bring it into a mechanic.
