2008 ML 350 Running Boards Question

We would like to get some "running boards" for our 2008 ML350 4 Matic. On eBay they offer the aftermarket set for around $600 Has anyone purchased any for their car wether aftermarket or not and are they hard to install. Any suggestions will be appreciated!
