Hello all! I just performed the fix for the flapper issue on the intake manifold. After I put it all back together I ran it in driveway for about a half hour then ventured out for a test drive. All was good for about five minutes into the test drive and then the damn thing started blogging down and surging. I wound having to replace the map sensor cause the vacuum part was busted but still no luck. I even took the thing all apart again figuring I did something wrong but everything looked good. Mass air flow is new also. I don’t have a scanner to pull codes either. The car is definitely not safe to drive. Anyway, I want to know if anyone has had a similar issue and what fixed it or any suggestions before I have it towed to my mechanic?
