2000 s500 cd stuck in nav!!!
 

does anyone know of any tips on how to get a normal cd out of the navigation slot on a 2000 s500, my girlfriend put a regular cd in there on accident when i was changing nav disk, i have alreay cut the power, but it just wont eject the cd, so all tips are helpfull. thanks greg

There is a company called fasttrack (not sure of spelling)that MBUSA deals with in re-manufacturing/repairing Radios and Commands. I am not sure if they are available on a standard consumer level but are for dealers. There are standard prices for repairs typically and one year warranty. I have dealt with them many times, especially on cd errors with 2000-2002 s class models and many others. Quick turn around and good work. Priced 250-750 for repairs. A mercedes unit reman if avail will likely be 3000-7000 dollars, no joke! If you can see/hear cd moving, you may want to help it eject. Hit eject, insert another cd underneath current one if possible. only put it in 1/4-1/3 the way and tilt it up softly to see if you can aid the cd in ejecting. A bit hard to explain but it will work at times.
