I bought a 1991 300E last week 70K miles. There was an electrical problem which I fixed only to find a massive amount of water in the cabin especially under the driver front a rear areas. I need to remove the seats and trim to get the carpet up to dry everything out as well as figure out where the leak is coming from. The outer rear seat bolt spins yet will not come out. I am ready to saw off the bolt to get the seat out. Any suggestions? Also if I do cut the bolt can I through bolt it to the bottom chassis? This is my second post on this web site.
