1990 300e 4matic
 

Have been driving with the 4matic in bypass, had faulty sensor ring on axle. After replacing axle and resetting the computer, transmission slips. Speedometer will move as if I am driving but the car barely moves, move the lever(under the hood) in to bypass mode and the car drives normal. Any suggestions on what to look at and what could be the problem?
