1989 560 sel starts and dies Economy Guage HELP!

It starts and dies the economy guage is all the way in the red when I start the car and rev the engine the economy guage goes down instead of up and then dies Help please

What is idle RPM when first started? What about when engine warms up? How quickly does it die?

Are you sure the vacuum lines have been connected correctly?

u ve got faulty ideal valve remove the valve and clean it up....
