Hello everyone. I purchased a 1987 560 Sl in arizona last summer and had it shipped to mass. I have a 1991 5.0 Mustang and a 1979 triumph spitfire also. I do most of my repairs myself and all of the regular maint. My problem is that I can not find a repair manual for the Mercedes. It seems Haynes and the other companies do not produce one for this group of years. Or am I just not looking in the right place? The 560 is in storage for the winter and will come out around April. I'm not even sure how to change the oil ! I saw something sold over the internet that sucks the oil out of the motor, I've never done that before and am not sure it has to be done that way. you can drain the oil and the filter is under there to but it will not look think any filter you think of, it is a canister style filter you replace the insert, but good luck on finding a manual!
