The right side rear window went down and now I cannot raise it. I have removed the panel on the door after checking the fuse and switches. I have also tried tapping the motor. When I hit the switch to lower it ,it works, when I hit the switch to raise it.....nothing. I would like to know if I can manually raise the window. Would welcome any help.

A friend of mine removed the motor and we were able to manually raise window. I jammed a piece of wood in the door to hold the window up. Do not know if wood will work because now I cannot start the car. I think I might have done something to the glow plug when I turned ignition key to auxilary.

 

Thanks for responding...I have checked the console switches. Even switched the front and back switches...nothing. I am puzzled that the window will go down but not up....is there a manual override??.........do you have any ideas on that??
